Description: The area got it's name because many
still believe it was one of the first solid fruitful pieces of lands to be
settled after the great destruction the volcano caused. It is said to this
day that if you dig deep enough within the soil here, you will come across
a layer of ash that spans a mile down. In resent years however
Blackfire Pass was one of the few regions within the new world who quickly
tossed out religion and old world customs to embrace the ways of
advancement and science.
One of the barony's greatest
accomplishments is in fact the capital city. A technological wonder.
Great cities, and extraordinary feats of academic learning have set the
stage for the progression within this territory. Lavathan, named solely
for the greatest scientist, Doctor Gerald Lavathan, who spearheaded the
advancement into the new age, and died tragically while working on that
which he loved above all else. This treasure of a city truly stands out
above many simply because of the wonders one can behold while venturing
through it.

Description Just as the northern lands are cold and harsh, the souther portion of the Guardians territory varies like it's membership. The Tanglewood Corpse is a thick, lush jungle. The humidity is high, as well as the temperature. The sweet scent of fruits and flora of various kinds accentuates the air. Upon first glance, one might think the Tanglewood to be a paradise. Indeed it very much is, but it is not without it's own perils. An assortment of inhabitants await in the jungle shade to consume the idle passer-by. Tales abound of enormous serpents that lurk within the trees and foliage, awaiting their next meal. Beasts are not the only thing to fear within this tropic landscape. A few scattered tribes of warrior women, the Amazons reside within and watch over the Tanglewood, guarding it, as much as it guards them.

Description The vast majority of these lands is called "The Eydimork" by the indigenous peoples. Translated from their native tongue to simply mean: The Wilderness. Deep, Lush forests, long mountain ranges and secluded valleys few have set foot in for thousands of years. The people that have made this land home are scattered tribes of fierce Norse settlers along the nothern shoreline. As well as other native peoples that have lived deeper within the forests for generations. The animals seem to hold more claim to the land, than the people do, and rightfully so. With most of the land unclaimed and wild, they are free to roam as they will. Wolves run through-out the northern portion of the lands, hunting the Elk and Caribou. Bears and Wild Cats have claimed most of the deep forests, and the mountains as well. Further south, the forest thickens as the humidity rises. The tree's transition from oaks and pines to more of the denser, jungle-type trees.
